Roadmap
Encore is constantly evolving. Here's what we've already built, what we're improving today, and what may come next.
Current Stage
The Public Alpha is running with the core product workflows in place. Members can publish and discover Stories, participate in Crews, explore canonical Artists and shared Events, record Events they attended, and build a private Library of Stories they want to revisit.
Encore now treats Artists as shared canonical identities. Stories can feature multiple Artists, Writers can introduce a missing Artist while writing, and public Artist pages connect those Artists to Stories and Events across the archive.
Published Stories also help build an Event's Artist knowledge. Rather than maintaining exhaustive festival lineups, Encore lets the archive grow organically as different Writers contribute Stories about the Artists they experienced.
Events have their own directory, shared pages, Story counts, attendance counts, known Artists, and a date-first writing workflow designed to reduce duplicate Event records. Events remain part of Encore's historical archive even when their current Story count reaches zero.
My Library combines Read Later, private Story Collections, and Encored Stories. Collections let members organize accessible Stories into multiple private groups without changing Story ownership, visibility, or permissions.
Production infrastructure and error monitoring are in place. The current focus is reliability, SEO, performance, accessibility, usability feedback, canonical-data quality, and continued regression testing through real-world Public Alpha use.

Encore now supports the journey from joining the platform to collaborating through Crews, publishing Stories, exploring Artists and shared Events, showing appreciation, recording attendance, and building a private Story Library.
Alpha readiness
These product areas are available in Public Alpha while presentation, performance, accessibility, SEO, and smaller usability improvements continue.
In Progress
Current work remains focused on reliability, discoverability, canonical-data quality, accessibility, performance, and usability rather than broadening the core product too quickly.
Coming Next
Future work will be introduced gradually as the current Public Alpha experience matures. Roadmap items may change as real-world use and community feedback shape Encore's priorities.
Long-Term Vision
We believe concerts and festivals deserve to be remembered through the people who experienced them. Encore aims to become a lasting archive built by fans, Crews, Writers, Artists, and music communities around the world, where shared Artist and Event histories grow from the memories people contribute.
